Türk Telekom · Zara solar plant, Sivas: owner's engineering

On Türk Telekom's Zara solar project we worked from the first technical assessments through to acceptance testing. We gave our opinion on the tender and technical documents, supported the preparation of the tender and assessed the bids technically. We reviewed the EPC contractor's designs and supervised its work on site on the owner's behalf throughout construction. Once the plant was complete we carried out the acceptance tests, the I-V measurements and the thermal inspections.

The Zara plant in Sivas is expected to generate around 200 million kWh a year, about 15 percent of the Türk Telekom Group's annual electricity consumption. It is among the largest renewable energy facilities in Türkiye.
