We provide owner's engineering and energy yield assessment for the solar investments of iron and steel producers.
Iron and steel production is one of the most energy-intensive branches of industry. Companies in the sector are investing in their own solar plants to meet part of the electricity needs of their production.
On the solar investments of four iron and steel producers we carried out owner's engineering and energy yield assessment, according to what each investment needed.
On Diler Holding's solar plants in Kars (130 MWp), Konya (100 MWp), Ağrı (55 MWp) and Sivas (25 MWp) we acted as owner's engineer. Across the four plants we reviewed the technical documents and designs, followed the works on site and reported our findings.
On Kutes Metal's two 12.5 MWp solar plants, Kutes Çorum and Kutes Kırklareli, we acted as owner's engineer.
For Ege Çelik's 10 MWp solar plant in İzmir we carried out the energy yield assessment, calculating and reporting the plant's expected generation.
On Kardemir's solar plants in Van (20 MW), Muş (8 MW) and İzmir (8 MW) we acted as owner's engineer.
With our independent technical assessments we helped the solar investments of iron and steel producers move forward in line with their technical requirements. This work shows the role we take on in energy-intensive industry's move to renewable energy.
