Project Engineering

Would you like to join the Solarian engineering team? We are looking for a project engineer who knows solar power plant (SPP) standards and electrical engineering designs well, has experience of energy yield analysis for SPPs, understands the equipment that makes up a solar power plant, and has the qualities below.

General qualities:

  • Motivated by achieving results as a team, disciplined and responsible,

  • Focused, and sees finishing what they start as their responsibility,

  • Believes they can bring new ideas to the solar power plant sector,

  • A university graduate in electrical engineering or electrical and electronics engineering,

  • Holds a driving licence and drives regularly, is free to travel, and can stay near the project site for set periods,

  • Able to travel to project sites in Türkiye and abroad.

Technical qualities:

  • Strong reporting and communication skills,

  • Detailed knowledge of the equipment that makes up a solar power plant (PV modules, transformers, switchboards, mounting structures, inverters, solar cables),

  • Able to interpret electrical engineering designs and check them against standards, with a firm grasp of deductive and inductive reasoning,

  • Enjoys carrying out detailed analysis using PVsyst, AutoCAD, Google Earth, Excel and similar tools together,

  • Able to think in three dimensions to assess whether land is suitable for solar and to carry out detailed energy yield analysis,

  • Enjoys reading and interpreting documents (specifications, legislation, IEC standards, tenders and so on),

  • Familiar with specification and contract management, and able to analyse technical requirements for each project.
